When packing in Abu Dhabi they arrived late every day. Packed furniture that were not suppose to go and also left stuff behind that were suppose to be packed. They left there packing material in my home nearly 24 hours after all my stuff was gone. The whole house was dirty, pieces of carton lying everywhere and tape sticking to the floor. [Name removed by Sirelo] said 3 to 5 days and no duty for our move to Muscat. After 2 days they phoned and said the furniture is in Muscat and that we will now have to pay for every day in storage. We arrived in Muscat at 2 the next morning. They said we have to pay 65OMR for duties as well as 90 OMR because we were not there the day before. The furniture will not be delivered until we pay and then the cost will increase. When our 210 boxes arrived later that day we paid they delivered. We would like to clarify on the transit time which is subject to border clearance and shipments can arrive early if there is less number of trucks and should the truck be held due to clients not being available to take delivery. Additional charges apply as mentioned in our proposal.
Also on the duty since there were new furniture we could not avoid duties which was not paid by client and as a good will ELL arranged to pay the duty.
Our crew always unpack all the boxes unless client requested them not to unpack any boxes which was the case here. Even when they reached out to assist with unpacking the following day it was declined
