46Expect massive shipping delays (if your items ship at all), lack of communication, given run arounds, contact from another 3rd party shipper also in on the take, paying double what you agreed upon, missing/stolen items, and UAE authorities to drag their feet on resolution.
The guys running this scam belong locked away in a cell for a minimum of 10 years. Unbelievable that the UAE still lets them operate within the country.
Both contacts, [Names removed by Sirelo], have ignored my messages while my belongings are with them.
This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable for a cargo company. Customers deserve transparency and timely updates. Posting this to prevent others from facing the same frustration.
Despite the fact that DTD Worldwide collected full payment from me, the UK delivery partner still has not been paid by them. As a result, the delivery agent is refusing to release my goods unless I pay an additional 5 weeks of storage fees, administrative charges, and delivery costs, totalling around 2,500 AED – fees that were already included in the money I paid directly to DTD.
For over three weeks, I have tried to get answers from my assigned DTD representative, and the service has been disgraceful. Messages are ignored, updates are vague, and responses are nothing more than empty phrases like “we will check with accounts” or “we’re waiting on payments from other clients.” No accountability, no ownership, no resolution.
Not only is this completely unprofessional, it is unacceptable and unethical. My goods are being held hostage because DTD did not fulfill their obligations, despite taking full payment from me. I would strongly advise anyone considering DTD Worldwide to look elsewhere. They are the very definition of pay first, suffer later.Read more
